Rose has gained in popularity over the last 5 years in Australia as people have come to realise how perfect it can be with our climate and cuisine . This wine has now become a crowd favourite in our cellar door.
We use the Saignée (pronounced sanyay) method of production, which is a French term, referring to the juice run-off (or bleed) from the soaking red grape skins. This wine was made from Shiraz grapes grown from a number of vineyards in the Central Ranges of NSW. After the juice is run-off, it is then fermented and treated like a white wine using controlled cold fermentation temperatures. The wine has had no oak treatment and was bottled early to keep it fresh.
Displaying refreshing red berry and strawberry and cream flavours. The fruit is beautifully balanced with fresh crisp acidity, with a touch of sweet berry fruits and a light touch of tannin, leaving your mouth watering and wanting more.
